Sydney Tattersall's Club's racea were held yesterday before a large attendance. Tho weather was fine, but a hot westerly wind was blowing. Now Zealand horses won tho last two events. Tho reason has not been stated, and commontators are mystified. They point out that Phar Lap won on tho bit, while Nightmarch beat the rest of tho field. Tho inquiry was adjourned till Monday, l'aquito is considered to havo improved his prospects for the Metropolitan by his win in tho Spring Handicap, but High Disdain disappointed supporters in the Tramway Handicap, in which Gay Ballerina and Goshawk were among the ruck.
