PRESENTATIONS.
Tliero was a very largo nttendanc# in St. Andrew's Ilall, To Puke, on Friday evening, when a farewell was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. W. West lake and Mr. and Mrs. L. Duff, who arc shortly leaving Te Puke to live in Cambridge and Tanranga respectively.
Both Mr. Westlnke and Mr. Duff ar® officials of the Rank of New Zealand #11" have taken a keen and active interest in all spoi't during their stay here. During the evening Mr. and Mrs. Duff wer» j> made the recipients of a handsome brass firescreen, and Mr. and Mrs. West lake were presented with a pyrex container in a silver stand. Mr. Duff and Mr. Westlake suitably replied. Mr. M. I'. Goldsboro. assistant-clerk to the Mangonui County Council, who has been appointed - clerk to the Kawlua County Council, was the guest at a farewell gatherinc arranged by the Count v Council at Kajtaia. He was presented with a cheque ,011 behalf of residents. Three other functions were also held in his honour, and presentations were made in each case.
