FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
EARLY START EXPECTED
(Received September 12. n.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept,. 12,
Wing-Commander Kingsford Smith is to begin a solo flight from Ileston aerodrome, England, to Australia in about 10 days. He will use an Avian singleseater aeroplane which hus been christened Southern Cross Junior.
