WHO'LL BUY MY LAVENDER?
One of tho prettiest and quickest ways of making lavender bags is to buy a yard, of coloured organdie muslin, cut it into squares, enclose the beads of a bunch of stalked lavender in each portion, and tie a strip of bebo ribbon tightly round the stalks. 8o that the raw edges of the muslin stand out in a frill around them. Mauve and petunia-tinted organdie makes a charming contrast with the blue-grey " heads" of the I.ivender. Tale green ribbon supplies a very pretty finish.
