BADMINTON.
THE MANGERE CLUB.
Tho Mangero Badminton Club held its closing night in the Mangere Hall. Mr. Owen Self, president of the club, extended a welcome to the visitors. Messrs. S W. House and D. Kay, vice-presidents, congratulated tho club on the progress made and its showing in the inter-club competitions. Prizes won during the season were presented as follows:—Men's championship, Mr. L. Kay; ladies' championship, Miss G. Clark; American tournament, Miss I. Pheasant and R. Pheasant.
