SALE OF POISONS.
Sir, —A canvasser recently called at my,-3 office trying to sell a preparation for poisoning rats—a white powder perfumed with anise oil, and apparently containing a good deal of strychnine and guaranteed immediately fatal to rats. It seems to me particularly undesirable that persua-, . sive salesmanship from door to door should bp used to place a pioducl of such a dangerous nature. X.Y.Z.
