PAINTED NAILS.
Painted finger nails, we are told by an English writer, are the latest fashion fad. Many women have tiny paintings depicting their hobbies, made on the nails. One Bond Street beauty parlour concentrates on the nails of cricket enthusiasts. On one nail is shown a green pitch, on another yellow stumps, on a third a red ball. Pictures of bats and cricketers' caps complete the ensemble. The paintings are waterproof and last a fortnight.
