HOUSE DECORATION.
LUXURIOUS MODERN IDEAS. Modern ideas in house decoration simply wouldn't have been believed a decade or so ago. All the metal work in now houses is chromium-plated, like that on cars, and never has to be touched, states tho writer. In one, beautiful London home, the rooms, tho walls and the dining table are of highlypolished steel. A room in tho Duchess of Sutherland's house has shiny black walls with inset panels made of look-ing-glass. Tho glass bathroom has become commonplace, and quite a number of women I know have turned (ho dingy back-vards of their London homes into the most adorable Dutch gardens!
Recently 1 heard the Marchess Malacrida, the well-known artistic decorator, say that nowadays women spend less on decorations —and change them more frequently. It's true that we do, isn't it?
