WATER ADDED TO MILK.
FINES OF £5 IMPOSED. On of selling milk containinrr added water, Owen P. Snelling and Cecil T. Carman were each fined £5 and costs in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. 7'\ K. Ilunt, S.M. For the Health Department, Mr. Hubble said Snelling was a wholesale supplier. Eight samples were taken and ono was found to contain 15 per cent, added water. Recently a retail supplier, a customer of defendant, had been fined. It, was stated that a sample of the milk sold by Carman contained 11 per cent, added water.
