AUCKLAND ORPHANS' CLUB.
The fortnightly gathering of the Auckland Orphiins' Club was held in Scots Hall op Saturday evening. The vicepresident Mr. .J Stanton, extended a cordial weleomo to the odieial quests, (ho i members of the executive of the Takapnna Orphans' Club, foi whom the president, I .Mr. L ,T. Minogue. responded. Other | guests welcomed wore Mr. It. P. Towlo, president ol the Auckland Law Society, ' and Mr. If. .1 0. Mahon, headmaster jof the Auckland Grammar School. An enjoyable musical programme was given.
