As tliero lias boon no racing yi tho province for nearly two months, the meeting is sure to ho woll patronised and a successful gathering is anticipated. The various events have all filled well, and, althoijgh tho class is weak in several instances, the racing promises to ho full c [ interest. As is to bo expected at this time of the year, the track will be soft Imt, unless tliero is rain ' before racing begins, it will not be too bad. Below is tho list of acceptances, with s review of the fields by " Archer" I'll 37-GREENMOUNT HUNTERS' HURDLES, Of £'2o9 ■ nbout 21 miles, st lb st lb 1 Foxhound ..Of, Scaramouch© . 9 0 Mariti • '.96 Gen. Frcyja is an improver and Tho Roadman ,is stated to be very promising. These may he the best of the field, although Foxhound, fiolanio and Marita may go well enough to make it interesting. Tho prime fancies •trill probably be FREYJA. THE ROADMAN. FOXHOUND.
