A SQUARE POOL.
PETUNIA-COLOURED TULIPS.
Although most people in mid-summer think about real flowers, Princess Maiy is one of tho latest to succumb to tho attractions of artificial varieties. At a surprise visit to a Brook Street gallery some weeks ago, the Princess bought four of the miniature gardens of metal and plaster flowers which were for sale. One of them was a square pool fringed with irises and pansies contained in a pale green tiled pot. Another was a tulip _ garden, oblong in shape, filled with miniature tulips in shades of petunia, deep purple, pale mauve and fuchsia colours. All these blossoms can be washed, repainted and dusted.
