SCHOLARSHIPS. rjARENTHAM SCHOLARSHIP FUND. The Executive Committee invites Applications for " Trentham Scholarships" for the children of Soldiers of the Now Zealand Expeditionary Forces, or of members of any Military or Naval or Air Forces of the British Empire, or the children of women who sorved as Nurses, either as members of, or attached to, the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, provided that such Soldiers or Nurses were born in New Zealand or were domiciled in the Dominion immediately prior to August 4, 1914. Applications will be dealt with in the following order of priority:— 1. To children of Soldiers or Nurses who died on active service. 2. To children of Soldiers or Nurses who wcro wholly or partially disabled on Active Service. 3. To children of Soldiers or Nurses who wcro on Active Service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces. 4 To children of Soldiers or Nurses who served os members of the Forces of the British Empire. Such children must have attained the age of 14 yenrs or have obtained a Proficiency Certificate.
