DAYLIGHT SAVING.
Sir, —This vexed question, which has become law in New Zealand to provide more time for sport for tho people who go to work at 8 or 9 a.m. and finish at 4 or 5 p.m., is by no means s, sporting act or the act of a sportsman, [t appeals to me as a selfish act of a sporting character. Without going into the pros and cons of the question I would suggest that all dairy company shareholders pass the following resolution at their general meetings that are being held just new: "That work at the dairy factories begin half an hour later during Sidey's summer time." The above resolution will nullify Sidey's interference with the State clock and we will be "as vou were." 11. Harrison.
