Vincent last evening:— Fine and bright weather is indicated temporarily, followed by increasing cloudiness, and showers in most districts, especially in western areas. Southerly to south-Westerly winds, moderate to strong, becoming squally. Seas moderate, but increasing on the west coast. Local outlook: Fair to fine, then clouding over, and showers following. Indications aro for light to moderate southerly winds veering gradually to westerlies in and south "of Cook Strait and freshening in tho south. Seas smooth to moderate, but rising later in Fovoaux Strait. Light to moderate southerly to westerly winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, veering later to northcrlies and freshening. There will be some scattered showers at first on the cast coast, mainly between East Cape and Cook Strait, but. soon becoming fine generally, with later showers developing in Westland and Foveiux Strait.
