SAFETY IN FLYING.

RESTRICTIONS IN ENGLAND. ONE-WAY TRAFFIC RULE. British Wireless. RUGBY, August 11. Owing to the largo number of aerodromes which now exist west of London and the resultant large volume of air traffic, the Air Ministry has introduced an experimental one-way system similar to that adopted in London streets for motor traffic. The object of tho system is to minimise, as far as possible, the risk of collisions between aircraft flying from one acrodromo to another. A restricted area has been defined over the aerodromes, and airmen who wish (o fly from one aerodrome (o another will have to fly around that area. Pilots have been requested to fly from the aerodrome of departure to tho edge of the restricted area by the shortest possible route. They are then to fly round tho restricted area in a direction "against tho clock" and turn into the aerodrome of destination from the edge of tho. area. Aeroplanes flown on a course which passes over a restricted area are to be kept abbvo 2000 feet.
