The' girl flier asked that the balance of the local testimonial fund, amounting to about £2OO, should be devoted to a scholarship in the sciqnco of- aviation at Hull University College. A civic reception and banquet were held at the City Hall this evening, and Miss Johnson's speech was broadcast throughout the country.
