ROTORUA NOTES.

DANCE RECITAL. A most successful and enjoyable danco recital by the pupils of the Rotorua School of Dancing, staged and presented'by Miss Del Thompson, was given in the Majestic Theatre on Friday evening. A large and enthusiastic audience was present, and their appreciation was shown by the applause with which each number was greeted. Mrs. J. R. Raw and Miss Roma Raw, of Wcllingon, have been visiting Auckland and are now spending a holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. P. Allsop, of Frankton, is visiting Rotorua, and is the guest of Mrs. R. Griffiths. Mrs. A. Kusabs visited Wellington for the week-end and has now returned to Rotorua. Mrs. M. Carr is visiting Auckland to farewell her sister, Miss Toms, who is leaving for Colombo shortly. Mr. and Mrs. A. Brown and Miss Jean Pearce have left for an extended visit to Sydney.
