MONEY TAKEN FROM SAFE.

DANNEVIRKE STORE ENTERED [BY TEI-EGRArH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DANNEVIRKE, Tuesday. A burglary occurred last night in Yates' cash' store in High Street. The burglars entered by the back door, opened a small safe and extracted the day's, takings of about £34 in cheques and cash. In addition they took some thousands of cigarettes.

HOUSE AT HERNE BAY. MONEY TAKEN FROM BAG. A thief entered a residence iD Wallace Street, Heme Bay,! last evening and took £9 10s from a front bedroom. Entry was made through a front window and apparently the burglar went straight to the bedroom, where he rifled the contents of a bag. Nothing was heard by the occupants, who were at the back of the dwelling, except the noise of a motor-car which stopped in front of the house shortly after 10 o'clock.
