DAIRYING IN TARANAKI.

The growth in tlio dairying industry 1 in North Taranaki is well illustrated in the annual report of tho Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works, Limited, which handles all North Taranaki produce through its stores at Moturoa. In tho past dairying season tho works handled 316,042 boxes of butter and 237,869 crates of cheese, representing 13,957 tons of butter-fat. This figure is 1508 tons in excess of tho previous sonson's and tho weight is more than double that of the butter-fat produced in tho 1920-21 season and treblo that of tho but-ter-fat produced in 1907-8.. Warm rains during the past few days in Taranaki have given tho now season an excellent start.
