White arrived in Auckland, yesterday-by tiro Canadian • Cruiser froin Montreal to take up his'duties as a ihomo missionary for tho Methodist ; Cliurch of New Zealand. . His first station 'will'be at Upper Hutt. ; Mr. White, who was a wireless operator in the British Navy (luring tho Great War, has visited New Zealand in the same capacity on merchant vessels ,on several occasions and has always wished to live here. He has made a specialty of youth movements and has been a leador of tho Hoy Scouts organisation in Montreal for many years.
