TRADE WITH THE EAST.
EFFORT TO STIMULATE. CONFERENCE IN AUSTRALIA. (Received August 11, 9.33 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 11. Attempts to stimulato Australia's trade with the East aro being made at a conference between representatives of shipping, distributing and producing organisations.
The Minister of Markets, Mr. P. F. Moloney, stated that a genuine attempt would bo made to reduce shipping freights.
