LIVE PIGEON SHOOTING.

DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The New Zealand live pigeon championship was fired to-day in dull weather. The absence of wind was welcomed by the shooters. 'there were 31 entries. The championship was won by M. Pratt (Hamilton), with E. F. Stead (Christchurch). runner-up. In the first shoot the following eight competitors killed 20 birds: K P. Graham, H. Grenneil, R. Mcllwrick, M. Pratt, R. S. Taylor, E. F. Stead, El. M. Wright, W. G. Gerard. These divided the prize money. In the shoot off Pratt shot 19 straight. Stead tailed at the 19th.
