ACCIDENT VICTIMS.

CONDITION OF PATH-NTS. The condition of Mrs. Lucy Luckens, of Swanson, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday afternoon with severe injuries to the spine received when a horse fell and rolled on her, was stated by the hospital authorities last evening to be very serious. Mrs. Luckens was riding along Red Hill Road, near Waitakere, when the accident occurred.

Another patient with an injury to the spine, Geoffrey Thomas, nged nine, of Valley Road, Henderson, who was hurt when he was playing football at the Henderson school on Wednesday afternoon, has shown an improvement. His condition was stated last evening to be satisfactory. There has beep an improvement in the condition of Mr. George Knight, of Mount Albert, who received injuries to the head and shock when he was knocked down by a motor-van in New North Road, Mount Albert, on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Knight, who was also struck by the van and received similar injuries, was stated last evening to be still in a fairly serious condition.
