Haily, at Huntlv, with the owners, representatives of the Miners' Union and the transport contractors. New proposals weto placed bcfoio the employees at a meeting to-day. The men accepted the new terms, which allow for an increased rato for transport, based on tho daily return trip ticket. The Ylenown Company is also giving a larger subsidy. The dispute arose from the decision of the contractors engaged in transporting miners living in Huntlv fioin their homes to the mine, a journey of 11 miles, to raise the rates. About GO men were affected, and when the contractors sought to increase the charge for 12 trips from 8s to 10s tho miners protested, stating that they would not pay the higher Kites. With their refusal to work, the other 80 men employed at the mine were not able to carry on operations, and last Tuesday work at the mine practically ceased.
