[by rrr-EGSAPH. —own coebespondext.j OAMARU. Tuesday. The funeral here to-day of the iat-e Mr. James Farr, who was fatally injured in a football match at Ash burton on Saitirdav, was attended by practically every sporting body in Asbburfcon and Oamam. while the large number of wreaths indicted the Inch esteem in which deceased was held. Ashburfcon was represented by officials of the Rugby Union, the Referees Association, clubs and business associates. A sad feature of the fatality is that Mr. Fair's mother has now lost her husband and three sons, one of the sons having recently succumbed to war injuries.
