LYCEUM CLUB EVENING. The bridge committee of the Lyceum Club arranged a visiting bridge evening in the lounge on Friday. The prizes went to Mrs. Speedy, Miss Fricker and Miss Hooker.

The Technical School Old Girl' Association held their annual dance in the Alexandra Hall on Thursday evening. Red and gold streamers and lights were used in decorating the hall. Music, waf, provided by the Rio Orchestra and an exhibition" danco was given by Miss Lorraine Edmonds and Mr. R. Harp. Mr. H. Layne was in charge of the floor and an extra was supplied by Miss B. Mcintosh. A competition waltz was won by Miss T. Scotney and Mr. B. Davis. The hostesses were Mrs. J. W. Walsh, who wore black silk moire and gold lace, and Mrs. W. Fraser, who wore black charmeuse.
The supper room was decorated in black and gold, the tables being arrange# with mimosa and violets. The members of the committee responsible for the danca were:—Miss G. Walsh, Miss M. Henderson. The tunc was spent with cards and music, the following items being given Songs, Mrs. U_ U>. Bennett and Miss J. Gibson; recitation. Miss J. Gibson; piano solo, Miss U< Ward- recitation, Miss Sheppard; guitar selection, Mr. Palmer. Mrs. Palmer and Miss Ward played the dance music. Ihe bridge prizes were won by Mrs. a.
