DEATH IN POWER HOUSE.
COLLAPSE OF ENGINEER

The death occurred at an eaijy hour this morning of Mr. John William MacLeod, aged 47. ;i married man. who resided at WaUari. Mr. MacLeod wa.s an engineer employed in the. corporation's electric powerhouse at llalf-wav Bush, and went on duty at midnight. At ' 12.10 lie telephoned to the superintendent, and when the latter arrived he found Mr. MacLeod lying on the, floor, j-utlering trom a severe pain in the elicit. He died a little later.
