PRIME MINISTER'S APPEAL. TRADE IN THE EMPIRE. (deceived July 127. f>,s p.m.) OTTAWA, July 2iL The Prime Minister r.f Canada, Mr. \V. L. Mackenzie King, in a last appeal io the electors before the general election, after outlining the issues, said : "We have made it our purpose to lift your eyes to the great mountain peaks of inter-Empire trade and co-operation, upon which at this juncture the future of the Dominion so largely depends." Mr. King urged s'<ch support for the Liberal candidates by the electorate as would give a message to the Htitish Isles and the Dominions that "Canada
gives its approv.il in rio uncertain terms to the policy of an ever-expanding trade within the British Empire."
