KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
YOUNG MAN IN HOSPITAL.
Scalp wounds were received by Mr. Robert Idle, aged 23, of 32, Summer Street, Fonsonhy, as the result of being knocked down by a motor-car in Karangahape Road opposite the Newton reservoir about 12.15 a.m. yesterday. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition hist evening was not serious.
