MT. EDEN CROQUET CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of tho Mount Edon Croquet Club (incorporated), was held in the club's pavilion, Nicholson Park, Mount Eden, recently. There was a largo attendance of members, and the president, Mrs. P. Hooton, was in tho chair The year's report disclosed (hat the club was in a good financial position, and that the past season had been a most successful one. Prizes for the club's competitions were presented by the retiring president, Mrs. It Hooton. These were won by tho following Winner of B championship, Mrs. Brookes; runner-up, Mrs. Cowie; winner of B handicap singles, Mrs. Cowie; Winners of handicap doubles, Mesdaincs Bainbridge anil Brookes; runners up, Mesdames llooton and Chadwick. Tho following officers were elected for tho coming season:—Patron, Mr. Oliver Nicholson; president, Mrs. C. McG ill; vice-president, Mrs. W. G. Allen; hon. secretary, Mrs. W. J. McKay; hon. treasurer, Mrs. M. Blades; general committeo, Mesdames Munro-Clark, Findlay, j Martin, Percy and Salmon; tea committee, Mesdames Brown, Lugton, Somervell and Miss Mason; social committee, Mesdames Allen and Fowler; green supertendent, Mis. Allen; delegates to Auckland Association, Mesdames McGill, McKay, and Rankin; lion, auditor, Mr. S. Cray.
