ACTIVITIES DURING YEAR

The annual meeting of llio Hamilton branch of the Young Men's Christian Association was lick) (his evening. Tlio annual report slated that tlio inenibership at (he end of last month was 319, inado up as follows:—Junior members, 125; senior, 52; sustaining, 110; young men, 32. In order to strengthen the religious work among young men Sunday afternoon meetings had been instituted List winter and bad been held fortnightly, this winter.
The physical culture department was much stronger than it was last year, the enrolments at tho end of Juno totalling 263.
The financial statement for the 16 months ending June 30 showed an ex cess of expenditure over receipts of £139. The following directors were re-elected for the ensuing year:—Dr. K T. Rogers, Messrs. E. I'. Cowles, 11. Gilling, R. F. Ward.
