BENZINE THIEVES ACTIVE.
NEW METHOD EMPLOYED. Benzine thieves are getting bolder. Tho syphon method is now being abandoned in favour of one much more expeditious. The thief undoes the drain plug at the lottom of the car's rear tank, Jets the benzine pour into a largo container and is off in a few minutes. Two car 3 wero robbed in this manner in a street in Wellington tho other night, and the tank of another in the neighbourhood also was drained. Altogether 25 gallons of spirit was taken.
