FEELING IN PERTH.
At a mcoting of retail traders at Perth, Western Australia, which affirmed a resolution carried at a previous meeting protesting against tho Federal Government's making new tariff increases operativo without Parliamentary consent, Mr. James Brennan said: "When Sir. Scullin comes here on his way to England, wo should all go into mourning, and let him know that wo aro sick and tired of Federal politics." Sir. Brennan said that his firm had £IOOO worth of goods i" bond, but as a result of the tariff, these goods were not worth £'2so. Other traders were in a similar position. Several other speakers advocated secession as the only remedy for Western Australia's difficulties.
