Miss Amy Johnson, heroine of I lie lone flight from England to Australia, arrived at Bombay to-day by the I', and 0. liner Naldera on her way home. She was wildly welcomed. The girl flier had breakfast at the Tajmahal Hotel with members of the Bombay Flying Club and a distinguished gathering. After a drive through the city subsequently Miss Johnson again embarked amid the cheers of thousands of spectators. She will leave the Naldera in Egypt and fly {o England in an Imperial Airways machine, and is duo fa London on Monday, August 4, a bank holiday. She will be tendered a national welcome home.
