BLUES DANCE.

Tho University Hall presented bright

scene on Saturday evening when tho students held a dance in honour of those, who had been awarded their Blues " this year. In the, supper room bowls of golden wattle and slender vases of Iceland poppies and jonquils were used with pleasing effect. Tho many popular danco numbers played by Mr. Reg. Morgan s Syncopators were much appreciated. During tho evening Iho Blues were presented l.v Mr. A. K. Turner, chairman of the Blues' committee, who commented on tho high standard of sport which had been attained throughout tho college. Tho lady members who wero awarded Blues comprised:—Miss J. Mcintosh, Miss E. Wann, Miss E. Lietz, Miss L. Roberton, Miss N. Whitelaw, Miss M. Graham, Miss N. Gallaher, Miss M. Stehr, Isliss 31. Mawson, Miss J. Osborne, Miss R. Tavlor.

Tho ladies' committee for the, danee comprised: • Miss Jean Mcintosh, who wore delphinium blue rrepo do chine and georgette; Miss Una Platts, floral georgette; Miss Ruth Owen, sky blue taffeta iviili pink hip bow; Miss Miri Stehr, larkspur blue embroidered net; Miss Nellie Gallaher, leaf green georgette.
