Gay Crest ran half-a-mile in 54s and Desert Song five furlongs in lm 7s. Lancer held Moratorium safely in a strong Gallop over a mile, which took lm 51 <l-ss. Pticpiito, who has been suffering from Blight muscle soreness since he resumed fast work, covered four furlongs in 52 2-f>s.
