CONFIRMATION SERVICE.
ST. PETER'S CATHEDRAL. [By TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Sunday. An impressive service was held in St. Peter's Cathedral, Hamilton, this afternoon, when 120 candidates from tho Franklin and Hamilton parishes were confirmed by Dr. E. A. Anderson, of Auckland, formerly Bishop of Eiverina. Tho cathedral was crowded. In an address to the candidates Bishop Anderson said the service was one of tho finest he had ever attended. Bishop Anderson preached in the cathedral this morning and this ovening.
