BOARD OF DIRECTORS. At the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors, presided over by Mrs. J. A. Bradstreet, the delegates to tho meeting of tho National Board, recently held in Wellington, gave their reports. The main lines of development there decided upon were an extension of boy-and-girl activities, co-'operation with tho Y.M.C.A., and tho institution of a training course for secretaries and others. Jt had been resolved, also, to invito Miss Jean Stevenson (formerly general secretary of Auckland Y.W.O.A. and now ill Melbourne) to accept tho post of national travelling secretary for New Zealand from tho beginning of 1931. Arrangements for tho approaching annual meeting on July 28 of tho local Y.W.O.A. woro finalised, this being also tho occasion of a farewell to Yuki Kimura San. Tho president made feeling reference to (lie retirement of Mrs. J. ('. Dickinson. .Mrs. Charles Smith, Mrs. J. \\\ Wiseman and .Mrs. Todd-Smith from the board. Department reports advised a satisfactory progress throughout tho association. An invitation was issued to tho gymnasium demonstration arranged for July 24.
