FARMER TAKES OWN LIFE. RESIDENT OF PAPARATA. fllV TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Friday. A verdict of suicide by drowning while in a slate of severe mental depression was returned by the coroner, Mr. C. K. Lawrie, at an inquest to-day into the death of James Hood, aged 45 years, of Paparata. who was missed from his home on Wednesday afternoon, and whose body was found in a pool at. Paparata yesterday morning. Deceased was n well-known farmer in tho Paparata district, He had been in poor health for several months and had been under medical treatment. He was a married man with 13 children.
