PEDIGREE FRIESIAN CATTLE

SALE AT OAKVIEW STUD. BULL REALISES f>s GUINEAS. Tim second annual sale of Frieisan cattle owned by Messrs. Lichtenstein, Arnoldson and Company, was held at Patuninlioe yes lerdny. The Oakview stud is an old-est:ib liahed one, having been taken over by the present owners from the founder, Mr. 11 R. Green ]', ie rattle sold were well distributed, going as far North as Kaikohe and South' as far in Levin. The auctioneers, Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, on behalf of Mr E. It Witherow, secured the well hied bull Oakview Dutchland Malumui Posch 111. at 65 guineas, which was the top price on the day. Tho yearlinn and two-year-old hulls averaged 31 guineas, while the heifers, Reveral of which vero in milk, averaged 284 guineas. It wi's a very successful sale considering the present financial conditions.
