FRONTIER LEGION.
YEAR OF STEADY PROGRESS. ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Saturday. The annual conference of tho New Zealand command of the Legion of Frontiersmen opened yesterday. There was a largo attendance of delegates from all parts of the Dominion. The commandant, Lieutenant-Colonel Weston, of New Plymouth, who presided, reported that tho command was settling down to useful work. The year, ho said, had been one of steady progress.
