FRENCH OPEN TITLE. VICTORY OF E. R. WHITCOMBE. PARIS, June 25. E. R. Whitcombe (England) won the French open golf championship with a scoro of. 252.f0r 72 holes. The French open golf championship was won last year by A. Boomer, with a score of 283* E. R. Whitcombe was fourth. Whitcombe, the oldest of the three brothers, has been Irish and Dutch open champion, and was second in the British open in 1324.
