WINTER COMPETITIONS. Tho eighth of tho 191)0 scries of winter sports competitions promoted by the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will bo held at the Domain Cricket Ground tomorrow, commencing at 2 p.m. sharp. Alan J. Elliott, who will definitely leave by the Aorangi on Tuesday en route to the British Empire Games, and J. W. Savidau, whoso departure by tho steamer is contingent upon tlie balance of tho fund necessary to send him being subscribed by to-morrow, will bo seen in action.- Handicaps for tho field events will be announced on tho ground, but the adjustments for tho steeplechase and tho sprint race are as follows: Two Miles Steeplechase.—J.
