CAMBRIDGE FREEMASONS.
NEW HALL OPENED. AN IMPRESSIVE CEREMONY. [bx telegraph.—ovrs coh^espcnijest.] CAMBSUKxS, Thursday. The official opening of the new hall of the Alpha Lodge of Freemasons was performed this afternoon, in the course of an impressive service. Erected at a cost of £2OOO, the new hall is built in brick and concrete, the frontage being of Greek design. The interior decorations, especially in the meeting hall, are carried out in elaborate style. About 70 brethren were present at the ceremony to-day, which was performed by the provincial grand master, Bro. Olive? Nicholson. Archdeacon G. Gordon Bell acted as grand chaplain.
