Mr. and Mrs. C. Goodhue, of Kaikohe, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Tripp, of Timaru, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. F. Stephenson and Mr. A. H. Ivory, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. Low, of Hastings, and Mr. H. J. Petrie, of the Great Barrierare at the Royal, Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Leggo, of Nelson, and Mr. and Mrs. B. Harvey, of Wanganui, are at the Star Hotel. The Rev. C. F. Pierce, headmaster of Wanganui Collegiate School, and Mrs. Pierce "are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. P. T. Green, of England, and Mr. J. R. Davies and Mr. A. Pirie, of Wellington, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. T. A. Carroll was yesterday admitted by Mr. Justice Smith as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court, on the motion of Mr. G. P. Finlay. Mr. A. E. Savage, of Feilding, has been appointed cpnductor of the Hamilton Municipal and the Waikato Regimental Bands and has arrived in Hamilton. Mr. A. P. Bennett, Mr. H. J. Wallis, Mr. W H. Ballinger, Mr. P. M. Muir and Mr. W. Gidies, of Wellington, and Mr. W. Cunningham, of Masterton, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. C. H. Warren and Mr. L. W. Foskey, of London, Mr. K. K. Lalkaka, of Sydney, and Mr. R. H. A. Webster, Mr. W. A. Simpson and Mr. S. Fergus : son, of Wellington, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. F. W. Gowing, supervisor of the registration branch, General Post Office, Wellington, will retire on superannuation on Monday, having completed 40 years' service with the Post and Telegraph Department. Mr. and Mrs. P. G. B. Davies, of Fremantle, Western Australia, who have been making an tour of England and the Continent, arrived in Auckland last evening by the Port Fremantle. They will leave shortly for Australia.
