TE PUKE LYCEUM CLUB.

FAREWELL GATHERING. A farewell afternoon in honour of Mrs. B. Martyn, member of the Te F«ke Lyceum Club, who is shortly leaving the district, was held at the home of Mrs. G. T. Simpson. Mrs. T. P." Lemon, president of the club, presented Mrs. Martyn with a handsome bronze V3se as a token of the esteem in which she was held. Enjoyable items were supplied by Mrs. P. Brooker, Mrs. R. Powell, Mrs. L. Duff, Mrs. Leslie Jones, Mrs. Gibbings and Miss Bash. A competition wa3 won by Mrs. S. H. MacDougall. Those present were:—Mrs. T. P. Lemon, Mrs. Harold Da vies, Mrs. T. Young, Mrs. C.
