FALSE BILLS OF LADING.
CONSIGNMENT WORTH £30,000.

PARIS, June 22,
Tho customs officials at Marseilles seized more than a ton of heroin, cocaine and opium contained in 38 cases. The valuo of tho drugs is £30,000. They were brought from Turkoy in an Italian steamer and the bills of lading recorded tho cases as containing dried fruit, powdered gum and boric acid.
Fivo cases wero found subsequently on board tho P. and O. liner Rajputana. These were tho first opened. Then tho customs officials found the rest of the consignment.
