After tho phenomenal success of "Journey's End" many people feared that the author, Mr. R. C. Sheriff, would striko ari anti-climax in his village comedy, "Badger's Green." Tho fact is now revealed that the first nine performances of (ho comedy at tho Prince of Wales' Theatre have resulted in a loss of £I3OO. Mr. Maurice Browno, tho author's agent, says ho would bo prepared to lose £IOOO a week for 10 weeks if he saw a chanco of the comedy succeeding.
