WHANGAREI FARMERS' LOSS.

Tho danger of allowing dogs to roam without proper control has made itself very manifest in tho past thrco weeks in the vicinity of Whangarci. Thrco weeks ago eight out of 16 sheep running on tho reclamation past the boat building yard on the Parua Bay Road wero worried to death, and last Saturday night Mr. S. G. Worsp lost 15 sheep in tho samo district through tho samo cause.
